Current random thought is that I hate it when people make lyric art and GET THE LYRICS WRONG. There's an otherwise cute image going around Pinterest that says "In this world you can learn to dance like there's no tomorrow." It's WHEN, not LIKE, that fundamentally changes the meaning of the line!

Lol Beth I was just thinking that earlier! We got spoiled with so many tweets and instagrams all the time! He's gone into hiding now and I'm having withdrawals after 4 days lmao ridiculous! Remember when we had to go months without a blog hearing from him when he would stop touring and be writing and album making? Lol

Yes, and when he completely stopped blogging because those awful people were horrible to him.

But I like being spoiled! Come back and talk to us, we are at least as interesting as the crickets! Hahaha.

Do you guys ever get confused about what show moments you saw for real and what ones you've just seen on youtube so many times that it feels like you were there? This happens to me constantly and it doesn't help that Andrew recycles his phrases enough that sometimes you might see something from another show that he said at yours too!

lmao yes Beth! A few weeks ago Matt and I were watching youtube videos of him performing and he mentioned one to me and I was like "Oh! I was at that show!.... I think...." Sure enough, I was, but it's really sad knowing that I couldn't remember if it was just one I watched online hahaha.

Gonna try to talk to my students about Andrew today without sounding like a completely crazy fangirl. The class read Siddhartha and talked about the symbol of the river ON HIS BIRTHDAY, and we've also been discussing the will to survive difficult situations and where that comes from, so I couldn't possibly have a better setup. I just hope they get it and don't think I'm super weird! Hahaha.

So I have a new coworker and I was talking about what I did this summer and I mentioned concerts and someone was like oh, who did you see? And I was like well Andrew McMahon... and my new coworker was like "Wasn't he in Something Corporate? I used to listen to them all the time" and it made me excited.

She wins all the photo awards...all of em. I mean sure there's lighting and location and focus and technical whatnots, but then there's the art...the getting "the look," like he's staring into your soul and not just looking at the camera with a look that's kinda there but kinda not, kinda out of focus...no this is just beautiful. ALL THE AWARDS

Lisa, those are all just as beautiful as I was expecting! LOVE that you used one where he's smiling because these types of things always go for the more serious look. I love how the location compliments his eyes lol. And that cover is just...zomg.

OMG you can't unsee things, and the stache is one of them. Just...no. You wanna go grizzly adams, sure, fine, alright, I fail to see why you wanna hide such a lovely face, but ok, but no, no stache...just...no.

Although I am only just slightly curious to what like a handlebar mustache dealie would look like...not curious enough to request one for sure, but only slightly.

Yeah I can live without the beard (I just love his facial structure so much, seems like a shame to bury it), but I can also live with it as long as he shaves sometimes. The mustache, though? NOPE.

That's like a mini-beard though. That's fine (although it still makes him look like my childhood church pastor, which is weird). When it starts to get bigger than his face I stop being a fan.

Uggghhhh I keep telling myself Tina Fey is gonna win so A) I won't be disappointed and B) If Andrew does win it'll be a happy surprise.

No lie ill be upset if anyone but Andrew wins. There just isn't anyone more deserving, imo, or more talented. At least Andrew said he's a Tina Fey fan so if its her at least maybe I can be like "eh, its okay I guess..."
